Daughter Celebrates Mother’s First-Class Graduation After 25-Year Academic Break.

A young woman has taken to social media to celebrate her mother’s remarkable academic achievement after she graduated with a first-class degree more than two decades after obtaining her National Certificate in Education (NCE).

According to the daughter, her mother completed her NCE over 25 years ago but was forced to pause her academic journey due to life responsibilities, including raising children and managing family demands.

Despite the long break from formal education, she later made the bold decision to return to school, where she studied alongside much younger students and overcame numerous challenges with determination and resilience.

Her hard work eventually paid off as she not only completed her degree but also emerged as the best graduating student, finishing with a first-class honour.

Describing her as a “hero,” the daughter said her mother’s story is an inspiring reminder that delays in life do not define one’s destiny, and that it is never too late to return to school and achieve academic excellence.
