Brazilian football star Neymar has announced his retirement from international football following Brazil's 2-1 defeat to Norway in the Round of 16 at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The 34-year-old forward confirmed his decision after the match, saying his journey with the national team had come to an end. Neymar made an emotional appearance as a second-half substitute, scoring Brazil's only goal from the penalty spot before breaking down in tears at the final whistle.
