Iran Conducts Drone Strikes on Tel Aviv Airport, US-Linked Military Sites.

Iran’s Army has announced it carried out retaliatory drone strikes targeting US AWACS surveillance aircraft and refueling tankers at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, as well as radar and electronic warfare installations connected to US forces in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The strikes, launched using Arash‑2 drones with a range of approximately 2,000 kilometers, were described by Iranian officials as a response to “ongoing aggressive air operations” by the United States and Israel, which have reportedly affected civilian areas. The military added that radar sites used for detecting missiles and drones were also hit.

This action comes amid the escalating conflict between Iran and the US-Israel military coalition, which intensified after the assassination of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, on February 28. Iran has repeatedly targeted US military bases in the Middle East in what it calls retaliatory operations.

Iranian officials claim the latest strikes inflicted significant damage to key military assets, marking another serious escalation in regional tensions.
