Afrobeats star has been confirmed as one of the headline performers for the FIFA World Cup 2026 Countdown Concert, scheduled to hold in Los Angeles, United States, on June 10.
The announcement was made by FIFA as part of its global entertainment lineup leading up to the 2026 World Cup, which will be jointly hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Davido is expected to perform alongside international acts such as Major Lazer, led by American DJ and producer Diplo, at the Crypto.com Arena. The event will feature synchronized performances across Los Angeles, Toronto, and Mexico City as part of a cross-border celebration of football and culture.
FIFA described the concert series as a fusion of music and sport designed to highlight global unity and excitement ahead of the tournament. The Los Angeles show is scheduled to begin in the evening, with live streaming available to audiences worldwide via FIFA’s digital platforms.
