Hundreds of thousands of Arsenal supporters filled the streets of North London on Sunday as the club celebrated its first Premier League title in 22 years with a jubilant victory parade.
Players and coaching staff rode through the city on an open-top bus, proudly displaying the Premier League trophy after securing Arsenal’s first league crown since the legendary “Invincibles” season of 2003-04.
Mikel Arteta’s side sealed the title before the final round of fixtures, finishing seven points ahead of second-placed Manchester City. The championship ended years of near misses for Arsenal, who had finished runners-up in each of the previous three seasons.
Despite suffering a penalty shootout defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League final a day earlier, Arsenal supporters turned out in huge numbers to celebrate the club’s domestic success. Red flares, fireworks and chants echoed throughout the parade route as fans marked the long-awaited achievement.
“This title means everything after years of coming so close,” said one supporter attending the celebrations. “The team has finally delivered what the fans have been waiting for.”
Midfielder Declan Rice, who joined Arsenal in a record-breaking transfer in 2023, said the squad had answered critics who doubted the club’s ability to win major honours.
“People used to laugh at us, but they’re not laughing anymore,” Rice said. “This team has worked incredibly hard, and seeing the joy we’ve brought to the supporters is special. We want even more success next season.”
The celebrations also included members of Arsenal’s women’s team, who enjoyed a successful campaign of their own by winning the FIFA Women’s Champions Cup.
Many supporters expressed confidence that Arsenal can build on their Premier League success and challenge again for both domestic and European trophies next season.
The title parade marked the culmination of a memorable campaign and signaled a new chapter for Arsenal under Arteta’s leadership.
