Gwamnan Jihar Filato, Caleb Mutfwang, ya bayyana cewa hukumomin jihar da jami’an tsaro har yanzu ba su gano wadanda suka kai harin kisan gillar a Angwan Rukuba dake karamar hukumar Jos ta Arewa ba, wanda ya faru a ranar Lahadi. 

Ya yi wannan bayani ne bayan ya yi wa Shugaba Bola Tinubu bayani a fadar shugaban ƙasa, Abuja, game da harin da kuma matakan da gwamnati ta ɗauka.

An bayyana harin a matsayin “mummuna”, kuma duk da cewa jami’an tsaro sun ɗauki matakai don shawo kan lamarin, har yanzu ana bincike domin gano masu laifin da manufar harin.

A wani ɓangare, Shugaban Majalisar Dokokin Jihar Filato, Naanlong Daniel, ya yi kira ga al’umma da su kasance cikin natsuwa, su guji fushi ko daukar fansa, yana mai cewa abin ya kasance “ba shi da kyau” kuma yin ramuwar gayya zai iya kara tabarbarewar zaman lafiya a jihar.

Plateau Governor Says Attackers Still Unidentified.

The Governor of Plateau State, Caleb Mutfwang, said on Wednesday that state authorities and security agencies have not yet identified those responsible for the deadly attack in Angwan Rukuba, Jos North Local Government Area, which occurred on Sunday. He made the statement after briefing President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, on the incident and the government’s response.

The attack has been described as “barbaric,” and although security forces have largely brought the situation under control, investigations are ongoing to determine the identities and motives of the assailants.

In a related development, Plateau State House of Assembly Speaker, Naanlong Daniel, urged residents to remain calm and avoid retaliatory violence, describing the incident as “unfortunate” and warning that reprisals could further destabilize peace in the state.

As part of security measures, the state government has reinforced the ban on motorcycle operations in Jos metropolis to prevent the movement of potential attackers and reduce the risk of further violence.

The Angwan Rukuba attack is part of a series of violent incidents in Plateau State, raising ongoing concerns about security and communal clashes in parts of central Nigeria.
