Drone Strike Hits Sudan Hospital, Killing at Least 10, Including Medical Staff.

At least 10 people were killed in a drone strike on Al‑Jabalain Hospital in central Sudan’s White Nile State, including medical staff and hospital administrators, according to Doctors Without Borders (MSF). Several others were wounded and transferred to nearby facilities.

The attack reportedly targeted the operating theatre and maternity ward, and is attributed to Sudan’s paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF), one of the main factions in the ongoing conflict with the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF).

Since April 2023, Sudan has been engulfed in a civil war between the RSF and SAF, leaving tens of thousands dead, displacing millions, and repeatedly striking civilian infrastructure. Hospitals and medical personnel have frequently come under attack, raising international humanitarian concerns.

MSF condemned the strike as a violation of international humanitarian law and warned that attacks on healthcare facilities further worsen the humanitarian crisis in the country.
