2026 UTME: JAMB Releases Guidelines for Printing Examination Slips

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has issued guidelines for candidates preparing for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) on how to print their examination slips.

According to the board, the examination slip contains essential details, including the candidate’s exam date, time, and assigned Computer-Based Test (CBT) centre, which are required for participation in the examination.

JAMB advised candidates to visit its official portal and print their slips ahead of the examination to avoid last-minute difficulties. Candidates are required to log in using their registration details and select the option to print the UTME main examination slip.

The board emphasized that the slip is mandatory for entry into the examination hall, and candidates must present it at their designated centres.

Candidates were also encouraged to familiarize themselves with their examination locations before the scheduled date and ensure punctuality, as late arrival could lead to disqualification.

The 2026 UTME is expected to take place nationwide, with thousands of candidates set to participate in the computer-based examination.
