Man Arrested for Shouting “No Water, No Light” During Governor’s Visit in Suleja.

The Niger State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of a 38-year-old man, Hamisu Abdullahi, for allegedly shouting “no water, no light” during Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago’s visit to the Emir of Suleja following Eid-el-Fitr prayers on Friday.

Reports indicate that the incident occurred while the governor was attending the Sallah greeting visit, and the man is said to have voiced the community’s frustration over persistent electricity and water shortages in the area.

Police officials stated that investigations are ongoing to ensure appropriate legal action is taken.
