Manchester United have signed France defender Leny Yoro from Lille on a five-year deal for £52.1 million.
The defender will stay at Old Trafford until 2029, with the option of a further 12 months when his contract expires.
Yoro who started playing for Lille when he was 16 years old, and both Real Madrid and Paris St-Germain wanted him, on the other hand, Liverpool showed their interest in the player.
He played 32 games last season and scored two goals as he helped Lille finish fourth in the league and was named in last year's Champions League final.
He made his debut on 20 July, 2024 in a friendly match between Manchester and Rangers in which United won by 2-0.
