How to calculate percentage of money

Hello guys today article is a mathematics, in which I will explain to you the simple and easy way to find a percentage of money or any amount of number.

A percentage is a portion or fraction of 100, it means, a part per hundred which represented by the symbol %.

So for example if asked to find a percentage of any amount of money or number, what you would do is to divided the percentage asked by 100 and then multiply it by the amount of money or number.

Example: 

If asked, What is the 12 percentage of ₦2,400?

So, what you will do is to divided 12 by 100 and multiply it by ₦2,500.

12/100×2500 = 300

therefore the 12 percentage amount of ₦2,500 is ₦300.
